In-Home Lactation Consultation Follow-Up

In-Home Driving Boundaries:
We are happy to offer lactation consults in the Scottsdale/Phoenix area. Before booking, please make sure that you are within our driving boundaries (North: to Care Free Highway, East: to Fountain Hills, West: to the I-17 and South: to the 202). For questions or to make sure you are within our boundaries, please give us a call!
About the appointment:
During an in-home consult, an IBCLC will meet with you in the comfort of your own home. Consultations last approximately 1.5 hours allowing us time to talk about your progress since your last visit, answer questions and evaluate a full feeding.
A hospital-grade scale will be used during the consult to help us see how much milk baby drinks during a feeding, which most parents find helpful and reassuring. Many breastfeeding challenges can be resolved in one visit and others can be more of a work-in-progress. Either way, we will work with you to create a breastfeeding plan that you feel comfortable with and will follow-up with you as needed.
Booking and Cancellations:
You may book in-home appointments 12 hours (or more) in advance, online or over the phone. A credit card is required to hold your appointment and a $100 fee will be charged for no shows or cancellations within 12 hours of your consultation. For a consultation with multiples, please call or email us to book an appointment.
If you do not find an appointment time that works for you through our online booking or if you are in looking for a same day appointment, please call our store during business hours at (480) 999-1585. We will work with you to find an appointment time!
Using insurance for the visit:

If you are out of network, we can provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance company for reimbursement. Most of our clients find that they can be reimbursed for some -if not all- of the appointment after the session.
*An additional $50 driving fee will be applied for insurance visits. This fee will be self-pay. For those not using insurance, the driving fee is included in the visit price*
